The Manchester Chorale has a reputation for the breadth of the music it performs, some of which has been written for the choir. We are refreshing our recordings and hope to put some recent pieces up soon.

 
40th Anniversary Composition Competition Winners

First Prize: "When Voices Rise" (Jack White)
Second Prize: "Sing for Joy!" (Martin Neill)

Third prize: "Your Words Give Light" (Lydia Jane Pugh)
 
Will Todd's "Like a Rainbow Shining" was recorded by Chorale members at home during the first lockdown of 2020. You can see the video here.

 

Chris O'Hara music

Here is a Chris O'Hara composition. Chris is a singer with The Manchester Chorale and has written several pieces for SATB choirs. If your choir wants to sing any of his music, let us know through our Contact Form and we will put him in touch with you.
